‘As promised all those months ago, here are some pics from our wedding back in April. A massive thanks to the Newcastle branch for their time and effort on the day I bought my dress. I think the fact that I was in it for nearly an hour was a sign it was the one! I wore it plenty of times before the Big Day and safe to say I’ve had it back on since. Just thinking of another excuse to get it back on again!! Mrs Jelly.’
The Ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast was held at Brinkburn Priory in Longframlington then they gathered the troops onto a bus and ended the night at The Grand hotel in Tynemouth.
The happy couple invited 75 guests to the day, including themselves, and more along to the evening – around 140.
Their colour scheme was a delicate dash of rose gold brought through with the bridesmaid dresses and of course not forgetting their ‘jelly cake’ to keep in with the theme!
Katie & Jack were taken by surprise by the weather in a very good way! They had prepared for the worst with many blankets for the Priory ceremony expecting it to be freezing but it turned out glorious last minute, which was a blessing as the string quartet agreed to stay and extra half hour to play outside. The blankets have since been donated to the Cat and Dog shelter.
As entertainment the couple played a game of Mr and Mrs – safe to say some of those questions were highly embarrassing from some of the guests but made for some great entertainment and red faces all around.
‘It really was an amazing day! I can’t fault any part of it! I think my favourite part was the actual ceremony within the Priory, it was a Church of England wedding and the surroundings were simply beautiful!’
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Jelly, married Saturday 21st April 2018.
